I said I was going to do monthly blogs about my great finds at the 99 Cent Store. However its been about 2 months since the last one. I have about 10 new items I bought and wanted to share.

This is my brush holder. Also the flowers in the back I bought from there too.

This is a really good detangler I use daily on my daughters hair.

Dove Daily Moisture. It smells Amazing

These little razors are great for clean up. A must have in my make up kit.

Hair Mayo.... Not the greatest smell. I also don't see much difference.

Olive Oil Holding Spray. Makes my hair hard.... Works great on my daughters hair.

Nail Thickener LOVE IT......

Green Tea Nail Hardener works GREAT!!!!

I do love preserving my tans..... I still have my Miami Tan!!!!

Hallowen Costume At The Thrift Store

My kids are now 6 and 9 so for the last 9 years I have bought my kids Halloween costumes every year. Don't get me wrong I do love the joy they get out of dressing up and the excitement of "Trick Or Treating", however I'm sick of spending $25-50 of something they wear once and never use again. So my bright idea was to give them $10 each and take them to our local thrift store. I told them to get creative. Make up your own costume, and save a couple of dollars to go to the 99 cent store for any extras. These are the pictures from our "Thrift Store Shopping Day"

So after a little fun and alot of decision  making......... They found there costumes.
Then a trip to the 99 Cent Store for the finishing touch.
Over all I spent $20 exactly

Cj got a Batman cape, he is going to use just the cape and he got face paint. I'm not sure what he is trying to be, but he likes it.

Kennedy got a Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz dress. She already has Ruby Red Slippers.

Kennedy also got this adorable coat. (still with in the $20)

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannons Twins Picture

Well its not the best picture...however anything is good!!!! As of now, "Dem Babies" have been with mommy and daddy. I truly cant think of any other celeb couple that have managed to keep their baby out of the public eye.... So here it is.

Mariah tweeted: "This is baby Monroe saying 'no pictures dahhhhling' at 7+1/2 weeks..oh dear :)"

Barbara Walters meets the couple and six-month-old twins - nicknamed Roc and Roe - in their Manhattan apartment and will air on 20/20 Friday night.

Katie Holmes Marie Claire Interview

This interview in Marie Clarie with Katie Holmes is so good. It truly lets you know that no matter who you are, all mothers go through the same thing. You can be one of the top female actresses in Hollywood, married to Tom Cruise and being a mother is still difficult. I read this article and was amazed by her humble honesty.
 "My daughter was with me the other day at a work event and it was a long day,"  Katie 32, says in the magazine  "I took out some paper and markers that I had in my bag, and someone said to me, 'Oh, that is so cute,' and I looked at her and thought, 'No, this is not cute. This is what all mothers have to do.'" she also adds . "When I am at a loss, I always come back to my mother: What would my mother say? What would she do? That, and I always bring a snack and a coloring book,"  Being a mother of two crayons, snacks and gum are a must in my mommies bag of tricks. There is nothing like being out with a bored child. I also love that she takes her daughter to events and work with her. I think kids need to know what hard work is at a very young age.

H&M Orange Jumpsuit

This jumpsuit is so hot. It was worn by Draya from LA Basketball Wives and is sold out at every H&M.
If you are lucky you might find it on eBay..... I am on a mission to find it or something similar. If not down to the textile district I go. I think it would be soooo hot in black or electric blue. Just a thought!!!!!

Bleaching Stains......

This are my favorite lounge around the house, run errands, pick up the kids cut off shorts. I wore them Kayaking and Hiking somehow I got stains all over them. Some kind of brown stuff. I refuse to throw them away so I pulled the bleach out and started spotting them. 

(Bleach, bowl, sponge, toothbrush)

Dilute the bleach with  half water.

Then blot and leave til dry repeat 2-4 times.

Then use a small amount of pure bleach with the toothbrush directly on the spot itself.

The result...... They will live to see another day!!!!

Suprise Anniversary Dinner At Villa Sorriso Pasadena

After getting back from Hawaii we were all sooo jet lag and still some much that the month of October had in store. I got horribly sick on the plane and was bed ridden for the next two days. I was trying to get better because I knew we were gonna have a small dinner with a few friends that Friday night. Little did we know we walked into a room full of our loved ones. Family and friends had gathered to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We had a private room in the back of the restaurant with about 20 people. We had a 3 course set menu with salad, entree choose of chicken parmigiana or angel hair pasta with shrimp or chicken, and desert was tiramisu. The servers were so professional and attentive. Over all I couldn't think of a better location to celebrate a special occasion at.  Here's a few pictures of our night.
(We were sooo busy having fun we gave the camera to my 6 year old daughter and didn't get that many great pictures. So a few pictures are ones i got off of the Internet.)

Kauai Shopping Day 3.....

The day before we went Zip lining we went to the Poipu Sopping center that was across the street from our condo. How convenient. There were tons of cool shops..... Check em out!!!!!!

Kennedy and I heading out to do what we do best.....lol

SHOPPING......

The fragrances in Hawaii are unreal. They have the best natural perfumes, soaps, body washes and lotions.

My son always jumping in the pictures.

This was my kids (and mine) favorite shop. It was a kids store that had the most unique pieces.

So cute and this dress inspire me to birth a Mermaid line. Shhhhhh (coming soon)

These wear so cute they were painted inspirational sayings on bottle tops.

Moving on we drove about a mile down to another shopping strip. Called Kukuiula Village.

The first store we went in to didn't have a name.... lol well at least i couldn't find it. But had great items.

This is a St. Christopher charm. It is worn to bring suffers good luck and safety. Also in the 60s guys would give it to girls as a sign of going steady. So cute.

These butterfly earring were so cute.
