Bassman died Monday at 94 at her home in Manhattan, her son Eric Himmel announced, working right up until the end

Her photos captured a mid-century world of elegant, slightly elongated women, impeccably dressed, done up in high-contrast black and white. Avedon once described her style as making "visible that heartbreaking invisible place between the appearance and the disappearance of things."

I have always loved her photos.... her photography is considered to be among the greatest of the 20th century .

Crockpot Meatloaf

I went to pick up my kids today and asked them what they wanted for dinner??? Its amazing to me that my kids like my cooking. I mean I thing I have came a long way from my "Hamburger Helper" days, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with box meals. Heck my family lived off of them for years. However after my husband politelyy told me "Baby i hate hamburger helper, but I love you for trying" about five years ago I had to learn. I love cooking know and get super excited to try new recipes.
So asking the kids what they wanted my daughter replied "Meatloaf" this on a night that I had worked most of the day and good meatloaf takes a while. We decided on tamale pie.
So not ever wanting to let my little Rockstar down I bought all the things i needed for meatloaf for tomorrows dinner. I have work all day tomorrow sooooo what is a mommy to do?????
CROCKPOT it......
Here we go
1 1/2 lbs of LEAN ground beef
1 lb of ground pork
Worcester sauce
sage seasoning
1 1/2 onion
bread crumbs (Italian Seasoned)
2 eggs
salt and pepper
Tomato Sauce (I don't do the Ketchup, but feel free)

Potato's (for your side)

And a crockpot.... heheh
