Vegas For EDC.....

Four Kegs in a whole in the wall local bar and grill that was features on Diner's Drive-ins and Dives with Guy. I had been wanting to check it out for a while and we finally found the time to stop by. Great food even better service. The Stromboli's is so good and the small size (above) is pretty large. Three of us ate and had a few drinks the bill was $55. Also its open 24/7

love this for my daughters room!!!!

The decor in this hotel is so different from all the other hotels. They really went out on a limb and it worked. But the best thing about the Cosmopolitan is the flow of the hotel. You can walk thru all the floor and there's no dead ends. There's no security asking for room keys or ropes blocking off areas. There are lounge areas on every floor just because. Great hotel and we will be staying here next trip.

Cools Finds

I wanted to share a couple of really cool things i found over the last week!!!!

This is hand made by one of my moms friends and the stones are strategical put together to promote healthy, centered, happy feeling and emotions. She has all different kinds and colors. My mom got two different ones and loves them.

The Edison Downtown Los Angeles

OK so its been a week or so since I had a chance to get to the computer so I kinda have alot of things I want to post..... The first thing is this A-Mazzzzing lounge we went to last night for a birthday party. Its The Edison in downtown LA. What a cool place. The entrance is located off of Spring st. on 2nd in a side alley. After you make it down the 3 flights of scary stairs. You have arrived!!!!

This lounge, restaurant and bar was such a little diamond in the ruff is well worth you almost breaking your neck. The drinks and food was over priced and from what I heard and the food wasn't the best. They have a great happy hour from 4-7 that the party I was with loved. At the door if you arrive between happy hour they give you a coin that is good for a 35 cent cocktail. In the 20s that's how much a drink cost. Cute!!!!!

After we were there for a little while a band came out and performed, I was hooked!!!

I came across this line while at my beauty supply store and thought i would try it out. I only bought one item,  it was the Ruby Kisses Mineral Powder in mocha. I have been using it for a cpl of week and couldn't wait to do my June favorites it needed its own post. The powder has full coverage and makes your skin look silky smooth almost pore less. I use ELFs tinted moisturizer and then apply the powder. I went back and bought a few nail polishes over the weekend and the quality of this product is amazing. The quality almost doesn't match the price...... The mineral powder was $4.99 and the nail polishes were 99 cents each. It always makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside when i find a great product with an amazing price.

This primer is something I must try. I just have to find it....

I haven't found much literature or web presents on this line and I have only seen it at the Beauty supply store. I will keep my eyes open for more locations its sold.

V Lounge and Circle Bar

Last night my husband and I were invited out by a friend of his and ended up club hoping in Santa Monica. Well club hopped we only went to two lounge/bar/clubish spots. The first was The V Lounge the decor in this place was very modern, cool and chic at the same time. We had a couple of drinks and chated there wasn't tons of people there it was still pretty early but we had fun none the less.... Its about the company you keep.

Then we ended up at Circle Bar, this bar was full of personality and people. Circle Bar is hands down one

of my favorite bars. The bartenders were busy but very friendly. Which is hard to find.

The lights were set low so I couldn't see the decor, however there was a Bruce Lee picture on the wall in the

back of the club. The dance floor was packed. It was a cool experience and the drinks were GOOD..... too.

Creative Duct Tape

I took a trip to Staples for some office supplies and some little goodies for the kiddies. They love when they get home and they have new school supplies on the table waiting for them. I bought them each a pencil sharpened (its ugly when they fight over one pencil sharpener lol) and these really cool erasers that are long and flexible. Anyways I found this duct tape that i thought was so freaking cool...... all different style and colors!!!! I think you can do so many things with it.... use your imagination and I hope u like....

Juicy, Tender Chicken

I just wanted to share a little trick i JUST learned from one of my BFF's (Iman). She is a foody just like me but she is a "ProFessional" she went to culinary school so she is educated. I just know what i like and my family eats.....
Anyway she texted me and told me the trick to juicy, tender (Chinese restaurant like) chicken is baking soda....
Marinade it in water and 1 or 2 teaspoons of baking soda for 15-30 min.
This also works with beef and shrimp
